Yamaha is a decent running bike and is pretty well known but it also has its down to the decently built bike it is, such as how it always seems to have issues after a little while something can just randomly break and you have to stop your riding for a couple days or a couple weeks to fix it yourself or take it to a shop but these bikes do have A LOT of power behind them. I own a 2003 Yamaha 250 and it rips. The throttle response on Yamahas is so much quicker than I think any bike but the breaking down so often is an issue too big to pass which is why it's lowered into a lower position.
